My 06 coupe intelligent key will not unlock/lock my doors in the cold weather. The car also wont start with the stupid intelligent key (no pun intended), it needs to actually be in the ignition for it to start. Anyone else have this problem?

 

Did you try replacing the battery? For an 06, it is about the time for the original battery to drain. I have an 06 and I replaced both batteries a couple of months ago. If your key is cold, the battery may not be able to give enough power for RF circuitry to transmit a strong signal. Do you ever notice a green key icon blinking on the dashboard shortly after you start the car without the key in the slot?
