Is this aftermarket set-up ok? (Speakers/Subs/HU w/ DD Metra Kit)

Bucszilla, what city and state are you in? If you are in So-Cal then there's a excellent shop that I get all my stereo systems from in the past. My pos bose cd player just crashed on me and I'm going to upgrade my stereo system. The shop is called "Gold Star Audio" in Irvine. BTW, I also love the front sound staging, had it in my integra back in the days.....

I'm in Florida near Pensacola...
I will look into the sound staging but it seems so odd to just have the highs in the front. I have been so accustomed to having the highs all around it it seems like it would be missing a huge element in the audio. I could understand this concept in a coupe but I have a sedan and I would like my passengers to be able to hear it well too.
I am not stuck in the "$100" price range... I am willing to spend a little more if that is what it takes to get the audio in the upper echelon. What speakers would you recommend in the $200-300 range? Keep in mind that my sedan can only accommodate 6-1/2" speakers...
