My cd player/changer finally went out on my 04 G35 coupe. I'm planning on redoing the stereo speaker system. I'm leaning toward getting the Pioneer Avic F700. My question is: has anyone tried just running components speakers for the front and 6x9 for the rears??? I'm not a fan of huge bass, just decent sounding bass is good enough for me. My thought is the component speakers in the front for my highs and mids, the 6x9 in the rear for some bass. Also, i will power the component speakers and 6x9 with a 4channel amp.
Here's what I'm leaning towards:
- Pioneer Avic F700BT
- Focal 6.5" 165KP component spkrs
- Focal 6x9 690CVX
- JL Audio 450/4 amp
Does this sound ok? Any help, tips, advice would be greatly appreciated.
