both are going to be doing the same thing... they are both capable batteries I'd say find out that's going to suit your needs more, shop around for best price, purchase

wow classic amp

the current draw is gonna hurt your electrical.

I cant remember how much current they pull but they are class A/B

Ive used redtops in the past with great experiences.

everyone likes something different.

I would actually check out the Diehard Platinum also. They are identical in specs to Odyssey batteries costing more, but come with a better warranty.

i googled and found this link on the topic...

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/car-...batteries.html

i would like to get a yellow top but after reading this post im now leaning toward a red top. they are saying that eventhough the yellows are dual purpose, they arent good starting batteries and the thing is that i work out of my car and it probably gets started about 10-12 times a day everyday. read the post and see what you think. im thinking ill get a red top and if the system is too much for it, ill get a yellow top as a secondary with an isolator.

yeah, its a badass amp, itll go to 1/2 ohm if i needed, still working since the mid 90's (knock on wood). im worried about having it in my car because i had it in a 89 ranger and it burnt the alt. after that i put it in a dakota r/t with a 130amp alt and 1 farad capacitor and didnt have any trouble. i dont know how many amps our alts. are rated for but i sure as hell would hate having to replace one in that cramped area.
