No there is only one plug to plug in, the other one i dont know what its for,

Anyway you can just glue it to the trunk floor, just make sure your antenna wire dosnt scrape anywhere,

Enjoy

All 04 and up Gs are prewired for sat. Some 03's are prewired.

03-04 radios have a SAT button. 05 and up have a RADIO button that cycles through FM/AM/SAT.

Very easy install - I placed the small antenna on the rear shelf where the baby tether hook is. You remove the bolt and the casing to make room - looks clean.

I have one for sale (sold the car). I can do $160+ shipping. It includes everything you need.

Where did you place the module? I know the coupe guys put them next to the Bose amp on the trunk floor, but the harness for the sedans is on the bottom side of the rear shelf and there doesn't seem to be a good spot to place it. Any recommedations?

sorry - I had the coupe and just had it on the floor next to the amp. I think a few guys actually drilled and built a bracket but I don't think I would do that.

Exclamation

I got everything working and noticed that the module gets VERY HOT. Is this normal and if so, does it need to be placed in a well ventilated area? I don't really see any other place it can go other than just shoved up under the rear deck. But, I'm worried it will melt something or worse. Any help?!?!?

Here is a good place to get the entire kit. http://www.g35parts.com/G35-Sedan-Fa...p/siriushp.htm

Look at the PDF for the sedan installation and it shows where the harness is located, which is on the right side of the back of the rear seat near the floor.

It's in the trunk, up against the firewall (inner most side of trunk), but you have to remove all the carpet panels, including the one under the rear deck in the trunk to fully expose all of the cables and mounting locations for a sat install. I went thruogh this when i installed the OEM iPod adapter.

Hiding Satellite Sirius / XM Antenna

So I found out the the Satellite antennas don't need a clear shot of the sky and that they can transmit through plastic and glass. Now with that said I have an 05 g35 coupe 6MT with a dealer installed spoiler, I also still have the third brake light on the packing shelf that is disconnected. I simply pulled the light cover, fished the antenna wire up under it and and re secured the light cover, works like a charm and I even have limo tint on the back windows.

Just a tip, Enjoy!

I'd put it under the front dash. That's where the stock GPS antenna sits (and my aftermarket GPS antenna too).

I just bought a 2006 G35 ... looks like the past owner had satellite radio on the car before because I see an XM radio antenna in the front of the car on the roof.

Considering the antenna is all the way in the front, you think the past owner used an external XM radio reciever or could of he ran the wires all the way from the trunk to the front?

What is a way I can verify this?

Obviously, I don't have satellite radio working because each time I press RADIO, it gives me FM1, FM2, and AM

Just curious, i have an 07 g35 coupe and my radio button only cycles through FM1, FM2, AM . Does the SAT option only appear after you have plugged in a Satellite receiver to the empty plug in the back?

Just FYI for everyone , here is a detailed list of all of the factory Sat plug locations for every model of infiniti. It's from the USA spec Bluetooth adapter website.
