Sean, that's what I'd do^^^^it shouldn't cost you more than a couple $100 for the install. They're not any more complicated than an alarm.... Let us know how it works for you....Good Luck with this! I don't need an alarm, I've already paid my dues several times over....=)

All the big manufacturers make stealth type radar detectors (bell, whistler, valentine). At that level they're all pretty comparable, but you definitely can't go wrong with the V1. I used to have the Whistler, and I used to sell them all. A good stereo shop can make it even more stealth than the photos here though. Some of the radar detectors just come with LED's that can me flush mounted just about anywhere, even in your guage cluster so there's no way anyone would notice you have it.

Exactly. It cost some $ to make it OEM type stealth. Mine was free. Run the wire through the pillar and call it a day
