I don't live in your neighboorhood Sean but if you have a good car radio shop in your area that should be an easy job for them.

Valentine 1 for sure, my friend's G37 has the unit on his windshield and has the the power wired to the rear view mirror. Good look and functional.

Buddy of mind has a LX470 with the radar built in. There's just a few flashing lights, maybe a **** or two mounted kind of below the dash on the drivers side. It's probably a V1 or something, I've never payed that much attention to it though. I think the Lexus dealership did it for him when he bought the car.

Yes you can both the bell sti driver and the escort 9500ci are grill mounted antennas with a receiver unit inside the car
http://www.1stradardetectors.com/rad...ctor/index.php
Here is a picture of the 9500ci the bottom two things are the laser jammers you can get with it but the top row you can see the actual radar unit.
http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...1-build-2.html
In this thread you can see it actually installed in the grill along with a pair of laser jammers

Depending on how much you want to spend there are a few custom radar detectors on the market.

www.escortradar.com

I have the Escort 9500CI in my car and it's hands down the best detector on the market, but it's probably also the most expensive.

$1600 for a radar detector... You probably either have to have money you don't know what to do with, or got a few too many speeding tickets to justify spending that much on a radar detector... Holy *****

Though they are very cool setups if you have the money to do so.

Me, I have a wife and if I spend that much on a radar detector that means I get to spend that much on a new piece of leather that she carries on her arm with little "LV" logos all over the place.
