So parts are slowing flowing in from UPS, USPS, and Fedex deliveries....I'm closer to install date!

I dled a DIY pdf and it looks pretty simple.......minus the dual climate button part that I am very weary about.

Anyone know if the install is any different when factory navi is involved?

Also, do I need Nissan Antenna Adapter for my headunit? The DIY said I cant reuse the stock one.

M6 bolts, use 1.5 inch bolts, i think that'll do it -- they have 'em with circular heads and it fits perfectly in the boyo420 holes.

make sure you dab those screws with some krylon black paint to prevent the rusting!

anyone had luck bypassing their parking brake security?

I read on google that I just have to ground the parking brake wire. True?

I also see on ebay there is a module you can buy, but it may be $45 wasted if it can be done fo free.

Thoughts?

Did some research and found a way to change the startup loading screen.

I had my graphics designer at work whip this up for me (image inspired from another member).

Note: the sizing is adjusted to accomodate the slight stretch that the kenwood unit will give you, so it would look perfect on the unit itself.

My buddy saw my picture and nearly died laughing at how ghetto it looked according to him. So he made a better one for me.

Thoughts?
