my ac wont turn off!!

Exclamation my ac wont turn off!!

i have this problem for about 3 months now!! my ac turns on by its self and and my center consol( all ac buttons... sterio buttons dont work) but i can contron my sterio from my steering wheel.. i heard this has happend to alot of G35 out there. but i have not seen an answer.

i have disconected the battery check my plugs in the a/c motor but no luck..

^ do you have 03/04 Coupe or sedan? if so the the problem is with the Circuit board it's a known problem, good thing i got rid of it and replaced it with JDM kit with a new head Unit.

i have an 03 coupe.... how much did you pay for the jdm unit?

it is definately the stereo, you need to replace the stereo that controls everything, i changed my stereo with another v35 i have and it works.

I have this same problem! It drives me crazy!!! It's so expensive to repltace that thing.

yea JDM Double Din kit is the way to go.

You get rid of the problem and get yourself a nice touchscreen with a lot more functions than the stock headunit.

I was reading about the jdm kit on there site and it says I would loose dual climate control? I got a 03 coupe. Is this true?

I found if you give the center controls a really hard open palm slap it some times makes everything come back to life. I had this same issue, its very common for these earlier year models. I did like most other and went to a double din center console. You need to by the jdm plastic center piece, the single a/c board, and a new stereo, then pull out that bose pos that will likely break on you anyways and beat the hell out of it with a bat.

Looks like I will be doing lots of slapping while I save up around 800 for a new set up.

Haha. 800 bucks will get you a pretty sweet HU/DD setup. But make sure you do the right thing and get JDM

Everyone keeps telling me to get the jdm kit but its like 300 bucks for a peace of plastic!!! But it will look cool once installed.
