How can i cut down on rattling

I have an 03 sedan with a Pioneer DEH P6000UB, 2 12" RF punch P2s powered by a 1000 watt amp. I understand you cant completely stop the rattling, but i just want to cut it down. Everytime the bass hits the whole deck behind the back seats rattle really loud and rom outside my trunk is extremely loud. Right now i have a rag in between the third brake light and the back window which helps but hthat is only temporary. I have a ported box would it help if a had a closed box? I plan on getting a smaller box. What are your recomendations.

When I had my Acura Cl Type S and was heavy into sound and DBA drags, I used a product called Edead V2. It is fairly cheap as appose to Dynamat and very easy to work with. Hope that helps.

^ didnt even notice til you said something, looks like it is uneven, lifted on the passenger side..
back to the rattling, in my car, most of my rattle come from where the roof liner meets the top of the back window, i folded some CD album booklets and stuffed it in there, stopped most of my rattling from the inside. also for the out side, i put a couple of layers of 3M tape holding the plate to the frame, and then more 3M tape for the plateandframe-to the car... a cheap fix it...

Thanks for the advice. How much do you recommend buying and would it be easy for me to install, the only things i have done myself since i have had it is installing the system and taking the reverse lights out. If I line the trunk with this stuff will it cut down on the trunk rattling on the outside and improve bass quality?

Thanks

Well i looked at the trunk alignment. It turns out that there was a bolt loose, i tightened it and now the trunk looks normal again.
