LOC, Which one to get??
Ok did a search of the board and came up with basically 3 choices of LOCs.
Peripheral Ven 4

PAC OEM-2
http://www.pac-audio.com/products/oem1.htm
Dave Navone's N-774V
http://www.davidnavone.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=N-774v
Which one should I go with?
I'm stuck between Ven4 or the N-774V but thats just from reading their website.

Re: LOC, Which one to get??
I had the Navone one and per the shop that installed, one of the channels didn't work after they got it all hooked up so I believe they replaced it with the PAC. However, I'm not too happy with my installer so maybe they just screwed something up. I honestly can't tell any difference between the two. Dave Navone is a great guy though, very helpful and offered a full refund. Which reminds me, I still need to call him.

Re: LOC, Which one to get??
I have the Navone with my gain **** turned all the way up and there is no hissing or anything. In case you didn't know, David Navone is one of the two designers for the car audio series of MOnster Cable.

Re: LOC, Which one to get??
Gosooners, so you are pretty happy with the navone?
Cool. Looks like I mite go with the Navone too.
I noticed that the difference between the VEN4 and SVEN4 is that the SVEN4 can handle up to 60 watts per channel rather than 40 watts.
Anyone know what the Navone will handle?

Re: LOC, Which one to get??
I haven't tried any other LOCs but I have no problem with this one. However many watts a LOC will handle wouldn't affect much. It's not like a speaker where handling is concerned. It's main purpose is to match voltage levels and that is all with circuit design.
