PLEASE HELP...Check engine light came on after installing PAC AAI-NIS2

Hi,

Sorry...I put this in General Discussion too because I really need help.

I installed the PAC AAI-NIS2 today and the Aux1 and Aux2 works. After I put everything back together, started the car and I had a "service engine light". Then I realized when I put the shifter back on that I didn't insert it through the plastic bracket underneath so I wasn't able to pull it down to D and it stops at N. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Then I took out the console and fixed it. Engine light was off. Then I tighten the negative battery in thinking everything is fixed and when I started engine again the engine light came back on again. The two connectors under the shifter is connected and I am not sure what is triggering the check engine. Can someone please help. I even tighten the gas cap just for the heck of it. Everything is working, radio, ac, shifting gears.

When I installed the PAC AAI-NIS2, I had to shift it to N and when I do that I can't get the key out so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. The Neg battery is disconnected while I setup the PAC AAI-NIS2.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
