Need help asap!!! Window!!!
hey guys. long story short my window isnt rolling up and its raining lol. what could be the problem?? its been happening for about a week. usually i would just open and close the door and it would work just fine but its acting a little stupid right now. iv tried disconnecting the battery for a minute or so (friend recommended that) and i looked at the fuse box under the hood infront of the battery and didnt see any labeling for the windows and i checked the fuses right next to the Ebrake peddle. its an 04 coupe.
so if theres a quick fix to this it would be awesome!

Im sorry to say this but there is no quick fix. You can either clean it or get a new window motor..replacing it is easy, just google replacing G35 or 350z Window Motor and there are plenty of DIY's. You can only bang on the door for so long until it fails completely. Sux cause a new motor is about 150 bucks..
well i found a "quick fix" i guess...i banged on the door while holding the "up" button...
is there a real solution??? im guessing i have to replace my window motor...lame..
how much do those run and how hard is it to replace???

Banging on the door will only last so long. Get a replacement motor at Autozone, it has a lifetime warranty. It's about $170 but if it ever goes out again its free. The motor is really simple to replace check the DIY section.
The banging on the door only works for so long, I been out of state for the last month and the window finally failed (down of course). I'm in middle of Wisconsin not one store carried the motor. I had to have one shipped to me total of $160 up front with $40 core. Pretty easy install though, It helps to have a 3rd hand sometimes but not required.
