I am planning on installing a PAC AAI-NIS2 in my 2005 G35 coupe using the installation guide at myg35mods.com. I have a few questions regarding this setup with my iPhone 3G

•Using the standard ipod dock connection, will phone calls be routed through the car stereo? Or would I have to use the standard headphone plug to get this to work? (Of course the mic on the iphone would still be used, just asking about the speaker)

•I am going to try to run the cables up through the ashtray under the stereo. Anyone have any tips for this? I eventually want to fashion a dock so the iphone will sit upright out of the ashtray. Would it fly out when turning?

•Finally, when taking apart the dash, does having a Nav screen complicate things at all?
