USA Spec Auxiliary Input Adapter PAII-NIS

I was wondering I have a 05 g35 fully loaded everything but the spolier, front lip and nav. Would this hook up to my bose? Just making sure before I buy it.

I just installed this in my 2005 G35 Coupe. Currently its set NOT to direct or hybrid and i have my iPhone 3G connected.

A. How do i get to direct/hybrid mode?
B. When its in the defualt mode how do i change playlists?
