Climate Control Not Working **HELP**

Now i know there are several posts about climate controls not working right, but i think my situation is a little more unique

so i had this problem for a while now
so i did the usual, have it checked out with ifiniti who told me it was a burnt out circuit board, so i got the metra double din kit and put a double din radio in.
I thought that would solve the problem but the problem was still there, the radio worked fine but the climate controls would stay on,
so i called metra who told me to see if they're any jumpers on the metra circuit board, i checked that and there are none

i also checked the connection/rubber tube under the steering wheel and that seems fine too

now sometimes my climate controls are normal and while i'm driving they'll just turn on, on there own and the problem starts again, and then after a while they'll work again, and back and forth

HELP ME PLEASE

my guess would have been that rubber hose thing with that harness. I had forgotten to plug that in twice.

ok so the wife had a suggestion that the ac comes on when the interior temperture is hotter than the temperture on the climate control
and once the car cools down, i then have control over the climate control

what could cause this and what can i do?

i have the same problem. i wanted to get a DD deck hoping the problem will go away, but it seems like you are still having that problem with the auto AC. I changed out the face plate (climate control circuit board) but it wasn't it. The dealership wants $450 plus tax in exchanged for your broken one for their repairable stereo. If i am going to spend a lot of money on a DD, then i hope the problem goes away. Did you ever fix the problem?
