4080 Sub Box with an IDMAX10

Hi Everyone,

I have a G37 coupe with 4080 sub box. I have an IDMAX on the way. From the specs the G37 box is internally similar to the G35 coupe driver's side box (7.5" deep and .8 cu ft volume).

I would like know how some of you have mounted the IDMAX10 to your 4080 boxes. Did you use spacers, if so, how deep ? Did you make them or buy them, if so, from where? Can you give me some details on how to make this work ? Thanks.

yeah the ID max 10" is 7.625" deep or 7 5/8"

your gonna need atleast a 1" spacer to allow "breathing" room for the sub

I read another member on the forum used 1.5" of spacers to clear the magnet. The cool thing is the 4080 box is right on on the spec for an IDMAX as opposed to a 10W7, which requires more room.
