Please checkout my new column at www.motormusicmag.com :)
Hey Guys,
Just want to let you know I am now a senior editor for www.motormusicmag.com. This online mag was founded by the publisher and editor of Car Audio and Electronics magazine, a publication many of you may have read in the past. The website will feature a wide range of topics ranging from custom projects, new car technology, and of course, audio/video systems and in-car connectivity. There will be a forum for enthusiasts including a troubleshooting section manned by a well known expert, as well as regular features on cars, gadgets and events. All in all, www.motormusicmag.com is designed to celebrate the custom car and the enthusiasts that drive the market.
My personal contributions to the magazine will be two fold. First, I will be presenting a column titled “Installers Corner”. Updated on a weekly basis, I will write about issues big and small covering a very broad range. Some entries will be more informative, while other topics will be of a fun and amusing variety. Basically, my goal is to give you something interesting to read to take the edge off after a long day, perhaps giving you a few useful tips and pointers along the way. So please, if you have some free time, come and take a gander at my column, the first entry can be found here: http://motormusicmag.com/Blogs/84/18...car-audio.html . (An independent section will be added soon) Feel free to respond to my entries via email, and as time allows, I will post replies on the website.
The second aspect of my gig is to connect with and support the local aftermarket enthusiasts and tuning scene in general. Unlike many other publications, which heavily emphasize high-dollar builds and large scale events, I feel that the majority of us, who spends our limited resources on our daily rides, who attends small and intimate club meets, deserve some attention as well.
I will be attending forum meets and gatherings representing the web magazine, taking pictures and writing blogs about the event and post it on the site. If a car catches my eye, I will present it to the managing editors and possibly arrange a video feature on the vehicle. Some examples of these video features can be found here: http://motormusicmag.com/videos.html As we continue to grow, we hope to offer raffle prizes at the larger annual and semi- annual meets throughout the bay area. In addition, I will be interviewing local enthusiasts and doing profile stories on them and their passion for cars.
At the end of the day, it is my opinion that while many of us aren’t regulars on the pro-show circuit, and we don’t own hundred-thousand dollar show pieces, we should still be recognized for the hard work we pour into our cars and the tight-knit community we develop through the meets.
So please take the time and check out the site, suggested it to your friends and peers. My goals are to help improve and expand the website through your support and in return give as much back to you guys as possible. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please email me at bing@motormusicmag.com.
Thanks!

well, you sure are already a busy guy, and now putting this on your plate....wow. I look forward to viewing the content, and can only assume that what's inside will be just as good as your installs. I look forward to seeing some good installing tips, etc. THanks for the heads up.
