WOW. I have done just about everything to get rid of rattles and vibration in the car (well, except the fact that I added a 12" woofer; I'm sure that didn't help!). Anyways, the 3rd brake light rattles, it's not loose, just rattles.

Has anyone found a reasonable solution to this? I've Dynamated the rear deck, foam weatherstripping, everything... it's not the deck, it's that dang brake light. ANy ideas? Custom work? Etc?

I already removed the 6x9's to vent the bass into the car too.... just looking for some new ideas. IM SO TIRED OF TAKING APART THE CAR TO GET THAT DECK OFF, JUST TO HAVE IT STILL RATTLE. UGH!

dude, i have rattles all over the place in my car since ive gotten my 12" sub too. its really annoying but i gave up. ive had my window and rear deck rattle and i brought it to the dealership and they said they fixed it, but its still there. and now i still have those rattles and my rear view mirror rattles too!
just turn up the music. i figure its a japanese car and its gonna happen sooner or later.

 

if the sub is in a regular box, move the box farther back to the seat or turn the sub around, mine did the same and the rattling from the trunk went away, but the rear deck rattles more now, i think its impossible to get rid of all the rattle because the plastics in the car will always vibrate
