Re: Hooked up the DVD to Nav today

Does the system still require cutting 4 wires? Also, where is the location of those pictures shown above. Do I still need to remove the shift boot, center console and glove box for the install? I am seriously contenplating on getting this done, certainly sounds like a much more cost effective method compared to the other unit. The only thing I might do different is using a top-loading DVD player in the rear center console on the coupe.

Re: Hooked up the DVD to Nav today

I just bought the unit, nice little unit. Received it as promised and wayyyyy smaller and cheaper than the competition. Anyway, I'd like to make sure I have the "ends" correctly distinguished. On the harness in the back of the glove box what side is the screen and what side is to the navi? Are the wires(obviously the one going towards the screen)the one on the female or male part of the harness?

How much did you pay for that rgb converter? You can get the same thing here for $150 http://www.converters.tv/screenshots/ss_714.html
Just e-mail them and they will tell you about it. They haven't put it on the website yet.
