Stock head unit warranty, steering wheel controls

1. What is the stock head unit warranty on an '04 non-Bose coupe? I just lost CD playing abilities...

2. What options exist for keeping the steering wheel controls working on aftermarket units?

yes, and I couldn't find anyone discussing head unit warranty terms.

In case anyone else is curious to the warranty, I called the dealer to be certain:

60k / 4 years
