stock Navi install

i just got the stock navi (the enitre unit) and plan on installing it onto a non-navi G. what else do i need to buy to make this installation as easy as possible.

What year is your car? There have only been a handful of successful conversions and I don't think I've ever read about anyone who has got the system working 100% accurately. Are you planning on swapping the wire harnesses or just splice in to them?

Have you looked at the wiring diagrams? Do you have the harnesses that need to be spliced in?

i dont have the diagram for the 03. no i dont have the harnesses. anyone on the forum sellin em?
Im prolly gunna bring it to a shop by my house for the install but i would like to have everything just in case they have a question

I doubt any shop is gonna get involved in that, at least not for a reasonable price!

I don't think it's worth it. Just get a nice garmin one and be happy with it. Stock GPS sucks anyway

The pop-up navi is cool, but the stock navigation software is nowhere near as good as one of the Garmins + map updates ain't coming out for the older stock systems anymore + all the other sweetness of an aftermarket headunit.
