Sedan Amp Placement

Hello,

I have a 2005 sedan and wanted to put a 5-channel amp. Where would be a good location to place the amp so it is hidden? On the coupes, the truck has a false floor near the spare tire. But I couldn't find one for the sedan. I don't want to mount the amp on the back of the rear seat where it could be seen when the trunk is open and wanted to keep the spare tire. Let me know if you guys know of any such location and some pics if you have any. Thanks.

make a false floor

its alot easier than it sounds

you can use the carpet as a pattern.

or remove the spare tire and build an amp rack

Why do you want to hide the amp?

I know its a silly question, but i see so many people putting so much effort in hiding their amps for fear of them getting stolen, but they'll run their cars down the street with the music blaring loud so everyone and their mother knows they have a huge system in their car.

I dont think it so much hiding the amp, as it is making it look nice

A setup looks much nicer with an amp rack and a nice box, compared to a prefab box just thrown in and an amp mounted to the top of the box

Could be possible the cosmetics of the amp aren't all the great, who knows.

You can always put it on the back of the enclosure if you have one that goes where the seats are.

Another option is where the wheel wells are having it stand vertically on some board and covering it up, just have a couple fans in that area to ensure proper cooling. Other than that, not many other options besides what has already been mentioned.

Mount it on the underside of the rear deck. Similar to the bose amp, but not sucking.
