When i got outa school today i fired up the G and put the air on full blast at 60 degree's. I was kinda in stop and go traffic for about 10 minutes and after that my left fron door speaker got really quiet.... i didnt think it was putting out sound at all till i put fader and left/right balance on that speaker and then realized it was on... just really really quiet for some reason..... After i turned the air down to 75 at auto a/c (3 bars blowing) it came back.... wtf is this about????

exact same thing happens to me sometimes. not sure what the problem is. im guessing its in the wiring.
when i brake i get sound back. actually sound is there its just really faint and low quality.

 

I got the same thing also recently. But only when im using the cd player. I called infiniti a few days ago and will be bringing it in for them to look at next week.

 

wow..same thing for me. let me know what they say when you find out. my guess is that its a bad connector between the CD changer and the stereo motherboard, but thats just a guess.

 

The same thing happens to me in my sedan. The left channel cuts out almost entirely on the CD player. A good, swift THUMP from the right hand usually rectifies the situation temporarily.

I will mention to dealer when going in for the seat rails.....

hmm...never happens with me... must be an issue with the circuit board, the A/C controls and Radio controls are all integrated into the same PCB so it could be that...

yes i have ths same problem since the summer started too lazy to bring it in...
i will bring it in coming friday about this problem...
yea when i brake hard or hit a bump the left sound would come back on... so weird

 

this happend to me too. infiniti replaced my headunit and it was fine for a while, but the front left speaker got quiet again yesterday....wtf??

 

since this cd player problem should be a TSB since more and more people have the same problem recently

 

i think you might need to change the cd player itself to fix it, im not sure its a h/u (the circuit board) problem.. what exactly did they replace?
