iPod wired for early '03 Sedan

I've searched faq and audio section, but find no info for how to hardwire an ipod into an early '03 (without Sat). my CD player just went out and dealer wants $700 for new unit and that still wont allow me to play my iPhone/iPod directly.

Crutchfield rep says "USA Spec PA15-NIS iPod interface is compatible with the 2003 G35, provided that the car did not come equipped with the factory navigation system or a factory satellite radio tuner. This interface will support the new iPhone 3GS, and you can find it on our site here:
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/Prodview.asp?i=581PA15NIS"

Anyone know better?

I literally just got finished installing the PAC Ipod (not universal) kit on my 2004 30 minutes ago, and it works great; charges iPhone 3GS, displays songs/artist on screen, etc...(bought it on Ebay)
