07' coupe Bose integration woes...

Hey guys, new here, just got my G35, Black on Black, 6MT! I love this car! Bluetooth without Nav Bose system.

Anyway, am attempting to find an appropriate wiring diagram/color code pin out, to either use a high-level converter from the Bose Amp to my amps, OR to intercept it at the low-level. But all the wiring color codes I have found are not very much help so far. I have figured out which ones are speaker wires, and have pretty much deciphered which speakers are which, but the + and - 's are still a bit iffy.

I have a factory installed Bluetooth I would like to keep, which seems to be attached to the Bose amp in the trunk. Not sure if I can axe the Bose amp or if not, I am hoping someone has the wiring pin out/color code for the blasted thing.

Thanks -

ps. does anyone know if there is an auxiliary audio input somewhere in the center console I can tap into for an MP3 player, I heard there was, but I am not sure if that is in the model with the Nav only? Not interested in video much of any kind but an aux input would be cool if it is just a matter of tapping into existing wiring.

once again, thank you in advance, I really like this forum.

The 07 sedan has aux inputs in the center console, but the 07 coupe is basically the same as the '05-06 sedan and '05-07 coupe, with no AUX inputs.

The wiring diagram for the av system can be found in the service manuals, available on infinitihelp.com and elsewhere.

Unless you want the Bose screwing things up, bypass it completely and just drop your own amp in its place.

hmmmm I had found that before actually...

Thanks for the input Wrathernaut, I found that manual already and between myself and my installer, I had a heck of a time trying to figure out the pin outs.

I know I am a bit embarassed, considering I am actually rather technical. I found it hard to figure out what page exactly was MY stereo, and the wire colors were kinda hard to figure out as well.

Too bad about the NON existent axillary input though. I was unsure if my coupe had them. Oh well.

thanks for the fast reply.

George-
