Temperature control not working after dd install

I have 2003 g35. We had the ac/radio issue (ac stuck at 22 Celsius and radio not working at all) for months. We finally decided to replace the audio with a double din Pioneer by professional, we used the metra kit. Temp was still stuck at 22 celsius, can't control it at all. Last week we changed our battery because it was dead, and now temperature is stuck at 25 celsius (way too hot).

Looked everywhere for that issue, but everyone who had the ac/radio issue fixed it by replacing there radio. Why is it ours still not working. Please help!!

Have you checked to make sure that all the harnesses are connected?

I had a simialr problem in my 04 coupe after installing my Alpine. I took it all out and forgot to plug in the harness that goes in the middle of the controller. Sometimes people forget that not only do you plug in the harness on the A/C controls but theres is one in the back of the unit.

The installer said he checked the harness and everything even called metra but could not figure out why it was not working. He told us to go to our dealer. Infiniti is trying to say it is not working because we have an after market radio installed (???). They want to install our old OEM radio (the one that was not working (???).

BTW our radio is not Pioneer but Kenwood if that makes a difference.

there is sticky somewhere about this... harness that plugs in under the steering wheel, by the temp sensor...try that... make sure that is plugged in. after that, check your fuses on the driver side kick panel

^+1 Also the radio has nothing to do with it. The dealer is the worst place to go for problems when you have an aftermarket product. They just want to make more money off of you. Check the fuses too. Metra does'nt have anything to do with the issues though, they just make the dashkit.

+1 on dealers sucking... they will point at anything aftermarket and say that's what messed it up.... "see, you installed a wing on your trunk...that's probably causing the heating problem. you should remove it and your ac will work again..." crap bs, they don't know donkey poop
