i kno that the front are 6.5 inches
the rears are 6x9

what i need to know is if the mid speakers are 6.5inches or 5.25? i've also read somewhere that the mounting dept for the mid speakers are pretty bad. thanks in advance.

 

what do you mean "mid speaker" are you talking about the speaker in the door?

if so you have to make an adapter and you can chose if you want to make a hole large enough for a 6.5 or a 5.25

 

in the coupe, you have 6.5s in the front doors, tweets are small like .75" and not much depth, the rear quarter panel are 6.5s as well, but have a weird bracket and not actually built into the panels of the car, the rears are actually the subs, and yes 6x9's.

mounting depth is fine in the doors, just use a 3/4" mdf baffle... i have 10's in the doors. the rears, iirc should be somewhere around 2.5" mounting depth...

most people here sound like they do the fronts and the 6x9's and don't mess with the rear quarter panels... I advocate nothing in the rear and spending more on the fronts...

 

the mid speakers are 6.5's. when i changed out all of mine i just got some speaker spacers from http://cgi.ebay.com/Nissan-Infiniti-SPEAKER-SPACERS-350Z-G35-FX35-AND-MORE_W0QQitemZ300303661500QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45eb7e39bc and just used those for my front and mids and they worked perfect.

 

If you're looking for speakers, I have a set of Infinity 60.7cs (Component Fronts) and Infinity 62.7is (Coaxial), both 6.5" speakers i'm selling in about two weeks.

Going to sell them all for $50.00 + shipping. These are 2 ohm speakers and work perfectly with the existing system in the car.
