Yeah, the PAC SWI-PS is $50 from amazon, don't bother with used. It'll probably have the wrong resistors installed and might not have the ones you need included.

^ Enjoy.

If you were doing this a year ago, I'd be able to help you out. I kinda miss that island sometimes.

With the 4200 (motorized face) doing the trim ring's a little more complicated, but if you can do it, it'll fill some of the gap.

Yep. All DDins in the JDM have a gap, it's easy to fill on an non-motorized face. Motorized face has other considerations to worry about while filling the gap, but it's possible.

iPhone Video Out?

So I just bought a g35 coupe that has the JDM DD kit and a Pioneer AVH-P4100.

The FM radio is not connected to the head unit and neither is an Aux or A/V Wire - I plan to add these connections as well as a PAC-SWI-PS.

I know I will likely need a Nissan Wire Harness and an Antenna Adapter..

I was wondering if there was any way to hook up an iPhone and get it to play video out? I am jailbroken on an iPhone 4 and wondering if I could have it play video out through my iPod connection or if there was a way to have it work through the A/V.

Any response would be appreciated

Yeah, you'll need an antenna dapter, but if the radio works at all, it's got the wiring harness installed.

According to page 39 of the manual it plays video off video-enabled iPod devices, so long as you use the proper cable (CD-IU200V).

i have an iphone with tomtom on it.. i wanna share my iphone screen with my head unit.

i know there is a tv-out cable for the iphone that plugs into RCA cables..

it should work fine with the unit's RCA cables plugged into the dock connector of my iphone, correct?

and in terms of the wiring harness..the ipod and dvd work just fine, so all i need is an antenna adapter i am guessing.

just want to make sure before i start ripping stuff apart..

If the jailbroken iPhone will video out in TomTom via RCAs, then there's no reason the Pioneer wouldn't use it in the aux video mode.

It may even have the antenna adapter, but they failed to connect the antenna amplifier power signal wire. It seems more likely than forgetting an antenna adapter. You'll have to rip apart stuff to find out whether this is the case or not.
