Question about the sub on the bose system.
Question about the sub on the bose system.
I got the 70-7551 harness on a 2003 g35 sedan. I get all speakers playing except for the woofer in the back. The harness gives me 4 composite wires, while my after market PIONEER - DEH-4100UB, has 6 connectors. 2xfront, 2xback and 2xwoofer. Are there extra composite cables for the woofer? Do I have to splice wires? Shouldn't the bose computer split the sound automatically?
Thanks,
Thanks,
The Bose amplifier does split it automatically.
You should be connecting the front and rears to the RCAs on the 70-7551.
You may want to check and see if the head unit is running a default filter or just try turning on bass boost. When I ran the 70-7551 from a Pioneer U310, it had a default of the rear audio being sub-only, so there was no sound from the rear speakers until that was changed.
