I made the mistake of installing a Kenwood X693. I say mistake because in bright sunlight, the way our center consoles are designed you cannot see the display. I like the unit, it sounds great especially with the HD add-on, but I think I'm going to upgrade to the Pioneer 4100DVD.

Does anyone have that unit with the HD module? How is it with drifting back and forth between HD and analog as you are driving?

You might want to try broader AV forums for this one.

The AVIC411.com guys have a few reviews of the pioneer HD unit, but none specifically with that head unit.
