03 metra single din install. A/C semi working

I did search but the other members issues were not similar to mine. This is after the new stereo kit went in. I did all the wiring myself and hardware as well. Everything was put back in as i took it out execpt for the one WHITE PLUG.

Ok my fellow "G" brothers, I installed my single din 7in flip screen. All went well and all the buttons work except for the temperature up/down switch. Currently all the other buttons work for the hvac to inclue all the speakers and radio. I plugged in 3 of the 4 factory harness into the supplied metra wire harness. There is one that i have no clue what its supposed to do. Has anyone run into this issue?

or where does that last white plug go.

Sounds like the double din kit is hooked up. There should be one harness coming off the metra ac controller. If the other buttons are working then you have it connected, I would contact metra or return it and swap the metra ac controller. May be a defect. The AC controller only works off of one of the harness's. Sounds like you got a bad Metra AC controller. I'm going JDM. It's twice the price but it works and looks better. Try checking the wire harness that comes off of where the AC Controller is. Make sure you haven't bent a spade. From what I hear they are very flimsy.

will check tomorrow. I do remember when i hooked it all up it set up both drivers and passengers to 75 degrees and on a/c. Its possible that the harness isn't sitting properly. Will look at it tomorrow.

did you buy the metra double din kit??

if so there is a jumper you may have to move

I believe its on pins 4-5 right now and it needs to be on pins 2-3, or something like that

the jumper is behind the ac controls where the harness goes in

**edit**
crap just read original post date...
