Pioneer DD which one?

Which one do you think has the best value, I have heard from most people that Pioneer makes the best DD and I agree. But out of Pioneer which one is the best quality for price. I have navigation built in so that's not a huge priority, but if one has another good quality that also includes navi I'll get it. I am looking at AVH-P4200DVD, Pioneer AVIC-X710BT, Pioneer AVIC-X910BT. Which one is the best? Like i want it to look clean, power 2 amps (one for subs, one for speakers) and be the best with my ipod touch 2nd gen.

If long boot time doesn't bother you, the X910BT from an authorized dealer is a good deal, since there's a $100 rebate on it right now. You can probably get it cheaper than the 710 with the rebate.

The 4200DVD is a pretty good unit as well.

If your budget can afford it, the Z110BT is the one to get. If you stalk its page on amazon, you can jump on it when 6th ave drops its price to the $920ish range and use the $200 rebate.

I just got the Z110BT... I concur with that ++++1

Incredible, all the way round. It's a bit on the expensive side- but a really sweet rig.

X910BT is a bargain right now, but for pennies a day upgrade to... Z110!

The Z110 I think is out of my price range, on Amazon it's like 900. The problem with that is one i get that then i need the DD kit to make it fit, then the JDM controller and all that stuff so out the door it becomes really expensive, and what does the 910 not have, I mean i know it will be slower but how much slower, plus I already have stock navi (not great but it gets the job done), or even the P4200 I mean I think that's pretty nice and inexpensive. The one feature it does miss is the ipod voice control

The x910 is about 20sec before iPod plays, shorter for radio. I haven't used a backup camera with it, but it's not instantly available like the Z110.

The features it has over the x910 is voice control of nav, bluetooth streaming (a2dp), can control pandora on the iPhone, bigger screen... it's just all around better, but at half the price the X910 is a good deal. The 4200 is less featured than the x910, but is more stable and polished.

Is the F90 new or used?
Is the DD Kit JDM or Metra?

It's gotta be used.
If that's JDM kit that's not bad. If you do it, go to www.avic411.com and search for the instructions to get firmware 3.0 onto it (unless it has 3.0 in it already) to make it much more responsive.

Considering a JDM kit is $300+ it's a great unit for $400. Good unit for $650, and a crappy unit for $900. Anything over $900 and it's a bad choice.

If you can live with the slow time to boot (about 20sec to iPod playing, 15sec to radio, or 2min before you can enter a destination or make a bluetooth call) it's really good.

I think he was going to try to put 3.0 on it, i'm not sure if he ended up or not, but i definately would update it to 3.0 if it's not already

If it had been initially released with the 3.0, the F series wouldn't have gotten such a bad reviews. The 1.0 was inexcusable, 2.0 was usable, 3.0 is actually good, but still slow.
