Auto gauge cluster?

Auto gauge cluster?
Can I connect a 2005+ Automatic tranny gauge cluster to my car 2005 MANUAL car. I just wan't to see if the gauge cluster works, i know that the gear selection display wont function properly but would any harm happen to my car if I try to connected it?

I highly doubt any major damage will result

its basically the same minus the way the gear selection reads
