Hey guys, just got a alpine double din and and tryin to see if anyone has done this so the e- break doesn't have to be engauged. basically so you can watch dvd while driving.( not that i want to lol ) just want it to be easier to use. Can any one point me in the right direction. Or send me a link that they know about. Or let me know what needs to be done inorder to make it work with out goin through the whole process just to make the dvd work

 

Hey Dan when i got mine done the guy told me its easier to just hook it up to a toggle switch.. Thats what he did to mine..

 

Most people have a bypass installed, you can fine that cheap on ebay, it doesn't really matter there, but then people also has "kill/toggle" switch. Basically once you have the bypass installed, you can drive with the DVD playing, and if u live in a state where watching movie in your car when you're driving is illegal, that's where the switch comes into play. If you see a cop, flip the switch, it turns off the movie immediately so the cop doesn't see what you are doing. That is rare though.
