MP3 Playback

Hey,

I've got a 2006 G Coupe that's fully loaded. I'm having trouble with MP3 playback. Basically, I can't make an MP3 CD that has more songs than a usual CD, and have it play.

Does anyone know what the issue can be?

What software are you using to burn the CDs?
Are they actually MP3s, or some other compressed audio format?
What format are your MP3s in?

I usually use Windows Media Player or Roxio.
The songs are of MP3 format, and basically what I want to do is put like 2 or 3 folders on a CD that have about 20 songs in each folder so that way I don't need mutiple CDs.

Just make sure they're being burned as a data cd - not an audio CD - and that it's doing a single-session. That should work fine, but others have had issues where they can't read burned CDs as well. You can try using different brand CDRs or burning software, or burning speeds. There's a lot of variables with MP3 CDs.

Read the manual. It will tell you what formats you can use when burning your disc. It's very sensitive about it. You pretty much have to turn off any of the more advanced options and go with a very basic file structure. A real PITA.
