Have you even looked at The Menu, from caraudioforum.com which I linked in my 1st post here?
I listen to everything....mainly Rock and Top 40. Im not a bass junkie in the sense that i like my intestines to vibrate along with the song, but i did have the stock systems bass turned all the way up in every car that ive owned. I like to have my music blasting in the summer time with the windows rolled down and not have it sound like ****.

Havent really had any "systems" other than this one. 10 years ago when i owned a Bronco II i had an alpine head unit, cheap upgraded speakers and a sub (none of which i installed myself). My next car was a crappy Dodge spirit that i just upgraded the head unit. After that i had an '08 Altima with the premium Bose 9 speaker system (i liked that system a lot...good bass and i could really crank it).

I agree, better amps sure. But this amp actually sounds decent and its authorized and best part...free

Ive used many many amps. Just throwing an idea out there.

Also space is an issue in an active set up....

Once you experience a great front stage (component set + A/B-class amp), you won't even care about rear fill. Can always buy a set of cheapo 6.5" coaxials to run off of the HU's amp. Does your HU have time alignment by any chance?

Well, even then. Should be a night & day difference regardless. < $400 for a great front stage is a great deal, isn't it?

lets say thats my budget then. sounds like a good price range to me. so i guess everyone make their suggestions of component/amp suggestions based off of that price range.

$533. Within budget, kick@ss, well rounded SQL-fit front stage. Loud & clean to put it simply.

Can't wait to see other suggestions pop up...

one thing to also keep in mind is that the f90bt has Hi-Volt (4.0 V) Pre-Outs, which i think will make hooking the amp to the headunit very simple, am i correct?

Doesn't make it any more simple than with a 2V preout HU... voltage matching is key to avoid clipping, and ultimately to avoid your speakers' voice coils going thermal.

"Gain setting method" and "preout voltage vs input sensitivity" could be useful in your future google searches.
