2003 sedan radio/temperature control problem

2003 sedan radio/temperature control problem

hi! i am a new g35 owner. i just bought my 2003 g sedan. everything pretty good except that the radio doesn't work, it affect the temperature control too. i was told it was the circuits board.anybody know what is the cheapest way to fix that. can anybody give me a link where i can get help? someone might have asked this question before! thank you

Cheapest? Check the for sale's on the marketplace for somebody selling their old 2003/04 radio.

Of course, I know others will say it, so I'll do it first.

If you're concerned with cheap, you should get rid of the car now... Just because the purchase price is reasonable, doesn't mean maintaining it will be.

Best option is to use this as an excuse to upgrade to a good aftermarket double din unit, instead of throwing money away on a used headunit that's just as old (and just as likely to break) as the one you're replacing.

but what does it stand for? i think i need to do that too. but i am afraid ppl might break in and try to steal the player?

You can always live in fear. There are DD units with detachable faces, or you can trim your stock trim to fit over the DD kit if you're creative.

There are a few places that will repair your stock radio. Google OEM radio repair or something like that. You will be without AC while the radio is out of the dash.

i found a link that shows you how to take the radio out, i think i will just buy the circuit board and do it myself. if it doesn't work, i will do some research on oem radio repair. thanks for the replys, wrathernaut and gilley
