You're forgetting the scosche trim ring.

Hit up my shopping list sticky for links and additional install tips and such.

And yeah, $800's good for the X920BT.

oh wow totally did not see that. picked up everything else from your list though, hopefully.

im guessing the trim ring can be put on after the install so i can still do everything else today right?

A local shop may carry it or a similar product, on the 04's its a bit more complicated to get to where you need to put it.

Your choice though, you'll be experienced in getting to where it needs to go after the install, so it should go a lot quicker when you do put it in.

ah hopefully you or someone is still on to help. I'm about 6 hours into install and ran into a problem, after wiring the whole thing to the metra 7551 harness, decided to test it so we plugged it into the dash.

everything worked fine, tested the fade and balancing of each speaker, radio works, etc. but for some reason, i plugged my ipod using its stock white cable to the USB input that came with the x920bt and it doesnt play music. radio works still, and the ipod seems to be interfaced properly (shows artist, CD covers, songs, etc) just no sound. any ideas? want to get any issues sorted out before putting everything back.

The USB cable doesn't carry the audio.

You can use a little 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable to connect the headphone jack on the iPod to the AUX input wire. You won't get video this way, to do that you should pick up the official pioneer cable for it.

Yeah, the eBay copies of it don't have a high success rate either.
