I have a new clarion 2010 model double din touch screen, and i bought the metra install kit and the metra wire harness, but the slot for the new metra kit for the AC controls is like a plug almost, but the old AC controller has some wiring heading out of it but idk how that'd fit into the new one? i dont understand...now if i put it on i wouldnt have the whole climate control useage, idk what to do

Your words fail to describe anything but confusion.

Try pictures next time?

There's hundreds of people who have installed with the Metra kit, I doubt they changed the one you bought into something that doesn't work.

ok imagine the climate control..the OEM one..thers like wiring sticking out of it after u take apart the cage etc n u can see it...right..well on the new metra kit on the backside of the climate control there is also a plug like ordeal on it too, but the oem wiring clearly doesnt fit into that..so idk what to do..everything else works fine besides i cant get good sound out of my speakers but thats a dif problem which ill resolve later once i figure out this climate control problem...im thinkin i have to buy the JDM kit because it comes with the plug already in the climate control....

Yeah, there's no need to imagine things when you've got a camera.

Did you buy the metra used from some guy in a trenchcoat in an alley? That would account for bad wiring.
