subwoofer help

I'm thinking about putting an Alpine Type-R sub in soon (the new model with 600 watts RMS, not the old 500 watt one).

3 questions...I'm trying to do this on a budget, so I'd prefer not to have to drop 500 on the new PDX 600 watt amp, anyone have any recommendations for good amps for the money that would fit in this situation?

Anyone have any recommendations for 10" vs 12", I mostly listen to pop-punk, rock, etc. but I do enjoy some techno and rap too, so I'm tempted to go with the 10" but I haven't personally heard the difference between the two sizes so I'm not sure what to go with.

Last, should I invest in some Dynamat for the rear deck/trunk to keep down vibrations or is it not too bad? I don't know anyone with a G, but I know that rear deck likes to vibrate from my Type-R 6x9s now, so I'm just not sure what to expect from a sub right below it since I'll be putting it right behind the seats so I can leave the whole back of the trunk open because I need to fit golf clubs.

Thanks for any advice.

I just bought a JL 500/1 off a guy for a good price...going with the 12" type-r, and I've decided to possibly dynomat the rear deck, but I'm gonna wait until I hear how bad the vibration is.

Shoving cotton rags into the gaps or using minimal-expanding foam in the spaces in the rear deck can help a lot with vibration.

Yeah I'll get to that after the sub is installed. I'm really praying that I'm not gonna start hearing terrible vibrations from everywhere. The rear deck is a joke and I'm expecting that to shake miserably, but on my budget I'm trying to limit it to that. If i make some cash maybe I'll go in a dynomat the doors too who knows, there's so much vibration and ambient noise in our cars idk where to put dynomat if i do put it anywhere.
