Re: My new system

Nice install!
My question to you is how does it sound? And how does it sound with out the subwoofer on. I was curious because i want to do a similar install without the subwoofer. Trunk space is important to me.
I was wondering if the bass response without the basslink is similar to or better than the premium bose system. Thanks in advance!

Re: My new system

Thanks. It sounds a million times better than the stock Bose system. The highs are much crisper and clearer and the low end is filled out thanks to the sub. The 6x9's are so much louder (yet clerer) than stock.
To me, it does not sound right without the sub. To be honest, it doesn't take up that much space. I still have my cargo net attached and I actually brought home a full load of groceries today.

Good job!

Re: My new system

Looks fantastic! Must of cost you a pretty penny.

Do you have any rattles in the back? That's the only real issue I have with my setup right now.

Re: My new system

Thanks. Yeah, it cost a pretty shiny penny. But I saved some cash doing it myself and had a lot of fun too. I don't have any rattles yet. I put some dynamat extreme back there and locked down that TSB rattle pretty good.

Skaline

Nice setup. Can you give us some more details on where you mounted the infrared led for the SWIx? How well does it work from there? Any problems on bright sunny days?

Thanks
