Momo 6500 front components

Installed the above on a 03 sedan along with a 2 channel Infinity amp to push them about 4 years ago and everything has been fine until now. I let the Bose amp push the rear door speakers and the sub. The problem is one of the front 6.5 speakers has become unglued and I must replace it. My question is can I keep the same crossovers and tweeters and just replace the two 6.5 speakers. There seems to be so many speakers out there just not sure what to look at my price range is 200$ to 300$.

Thanks

If they're separate crossovers, like the BA Pro60se uses, you can re-use the tweeter one, but I wouldn't use a crossover made for one speaker for a different one. If they're a good component, they'll come with their own crossover.

At $300, the BA Pro60se I've got sounds fantastic, but there may be cheaper ones that sound just about as good.

Yes, they fit, but not with stock mounting bits at all. Nothing a lot of high-temp hot-melt glue wasn't able to fix.

Thought I would save some money and time as the tweeters and crossovers are fine and are in place. If I can find some one way 6.5 Polk MM series, would that be okay to work with my existing tweets and crossovers..

Thanks

The one-ways probably wouldn't be as good as the ones you're replacing, but if you really have $200-300 to spend, might as well get components with matched tweeters and mids instead of creating a bastard child of audio.

Just got off the phone with Polk and they will sell me the new 6.5 driver and they say its a bit better than what I had and that there is no need to change
tweeter and crossovers, I think I will also buy a Dynamat speaker kit, then
hopefully good to go, they want 66$ per driver which I find is reasonable.

I would recommend purchasing from here over Dynamat:
www.sounddeadenershowdown.com

So many times better than Dynamat.
Damplifier's also very good.
