anyone got 4channel amp under pass seat?
just wondering if anyone has put a 4 channel amp under their passenger seat (if theres room) and also if a 4 channel is worth it.
currently have kenwood ddx712, RE amp for 2 RE flat subs in 4080 boxes, boston pro 6.5 components up front and boston SE 6.5 coaxials in the rear
i also have a set of rainbow 3 way compenents i can out in but dunno if its worth it and dont know where to mount the 4" midrange speaker if so

There's a thread in here where somebody built a small midrange enclosure into the top cubby hole, takes some skill, but looks cool.
As for mounting under the seat, there's no airflow under there, and the seat above is going to prevent any heat dissipation. If you build a small box to make room around it with active cooling fans with ducting to the trunk or cabin to keep airflow it could be done.
