Dash Buttons not lighting up

Just went aftermarket on my Stereo and noticed last night (first drive after dark since the install) that my lights on the navigation contyrols and A/C controls aren't illuminating. Rest of the dash and the radio and Nav screen are fine. Any ideas?

JDM or Metra?

If it's a Metra, you're not the first with this problem, but it would be the first I've heard of a JDM one not lighting up properly.

The previous encounter with this ended with them the guy who sold them for a replacement.

The buttons still function though, right?

The way I see it if your dash buttons lighted up before, I don't think it could be the fuse or anything and if your aftermarket radio is working good too, then there's nothing to be worried about there, but what you can do is to make sure the plug from the AC controller is plugged all the way in and if it is, then I guess the AC controller is is defective or if you bought it used the previous owner might of f***** it up.
