Radio lights not working? 03 sedan

The radio illumination doesn't have its own fuse, so it would be part of the circuit board that controls everything in the radio that went out.
Does the radio display dim when you turn the headlights on? If it doesn't then it could just be a bad connection on the harness going into the factory stereo. If it does dim, then it's definitely something bad in the circuit board itself, and likely needs to be replaced.
Good news with that is that most people who have upgraded to a double din setup have old ones sitting around they may sell. Just don't go posting a new want-to-buy thread in here, as that's against forum rules. But if somebody was to read this and PM you about it, that's just fine.

If nothing at all dims in the whole car, you could have bigger problems, but it means your radio circuits are probably ok.
It could be a simply relay that's gone out, or it could be the entire body control module. I don't have access to my manuals for another couple of hours, but with this problem you may want to post in the interior - lighting forum where somebody more familiar with this subject can weigh in.
