Re: where to hook up remote wire for amp

I am assuming that it stands for light green. The other way of telling is that the schematic has a diagram for the wiring harness. If you look at the pic, the wire is #10 for acc. The diagram at the bottom for the harness (m40) has #10 in the upper left hand corner of the harness disconnect.(with the click tab facing upward)---do it like that.

Re: where to hook up remote wire for amp

im tapping in thru the trunk so i dont know which harness im looking at but theres a bunch of wires in the trunk against the back seat area in the trunk that extends to the rear fender of the trunk. so ill try light green later but i had seen on a site that it had every color and what it was for i cant seem to find it it was almost like what the shops have the program that tells you what every color is in the car

Well, in that case I am not sure. I don't believe there are any wires running to the trunk area unless you have a Bose system. This harness is the one that plugs into the back of the HU. You could tap in there and run a new wire back to the trunk where your amp is. Other than that, someone else with a base system would have to help you. According to the shop manual I have, there is no acc wire in the trunk area.

I don't believe so. I would have to look into it more. (check the shop manual) Anyone else?
