Interesting...

Are you familiar with IPODs? Do they make an adapter to work with your device?

Do you use the NAV IN input on your Gnet?

Did you manage to solve your problems since you posted this?

I'm thinking about buying the Gnet, but I can hardly find info and discussions anwhere!

Thanks!

Mod my G35 NAV

I am from canada and i had purchased the RBG unit for my G35 coupe. I was wondering if there is anyone in GTA area who has done this mod on there G35because i don't feel comfortable letting any audio shop do my mod for there first time. If someone has done this mod or if they know any good audio shops who can do this mod please help. Thanks in advance.

So after reading, it looks like I can just use the KP Technologies Premier module for $50 to bypass the OK button on the NAV everytime I start it, be able to use NAV while driving, and be able to place in 1 device such as PS2.

Then I could get the PAC-AAI USA device to use Ipod, and get audio for PS2 while utilizing the CD Changer 5 & 6 slots.

Does this sound right?

No, KP Tech bypass unit only functions to bypass the OK button on Nav.

There's no video input!!

You will need a TVandNav2Go or AV Electronics to get the video inputs.

That is correct, the KPtechnologies module has NO video converting abilities. What it will allow you to do is switch an external converter through the 'OK' button so you don't have to add a switch. It makes the integration very stock like.

The KPtechnologies module can also be set up to allow programming while the vehicle is in motion through the 'OK' button.

Ahh. Ok. Thanks for the clarification. Their website said it allows you to toggle on/off an external device, such as DVD Player. But that toggle is only if you have the other equipment. So since its using the OK button, I can use it to switch to DVD with the other equipment OR, it can only be used to override the NAV while driving, it wont do both.

There is only one output, so you have to pick between the programming while moving or the control of the RGB converter of your choice.

If you want both, I would suggest using the KPtech unit for the programming while moving feature, as the output is 'smart' and will automatically switch the Navi system back to normal use when you quit programming it.

AVElectronic is good if you need more video inputs (3) compared to TVandNav2Go (2). For the money, I would get TVandNav2Go.

Check out mine
