Non-bose line out converter question

I have a 2004 Sedan without the bose system. I'm putting new door speakers in, and an amp in the trunk for them. I already have a sub, and tapped into the rear speaker outputs for the LOC on that, but I'm having trouble with the LOC wiring for the front speakers. I tested, and thought I had them. The ones I hooked up (Red/Green, White/Black) work, but when I turn the ignition off, I get a "clicking buzz" sound from the speakers that are hooked up to that amp, for a few seconds. Not sure what could be causing this noise. Any suggestions?

Is your LOC powered or passive?

If it's powered, check that the remote wire is turning it off.

Good to check the amp's remote wire while you're at it.

It is passive as far as I know. I will double check the remote wire
