Hi

What's the deal on satellite radio in Canada?

Can we get it? How?
Is our car pre-wired or not? I have seen articles that state the car is pre-wired but I've seen others that say that everything coming into Canada doesn't have the cable.

So far all I have is a useless button on my dash!

Any ideas?

I would start by checking out the websites for the two satellite radio providers (Sirius and XM). I looked at them a while back, and neither offered service in Canada. One of the two was working on providing the service, and the other did not say anything about it.

Since there are no Satellite providers in Canada, I think Nissan/Infiniti is cutting costs by not putting unnecessary parts in cars destined for Canada. I say I think because there are members with Satelite radio service in Canada, and some have said their Canadian cars came equiped with the pre-wire. And then there are other members who cannot find the wire.
